They [Top Banana] can serve as our eyes and ears in the community; it may not be their main directive, but they keep their eyes out, and sometimes they are the only people these seniors see.
—Theresa Grant, Director of Aging Services, Prince George's County Department of Family Services
A really tremendous program. Making a lot of people's lives so much fuller because they are able to live independently with just that little bit of assistance. Just an old fashioned idea in this modern time. It's just nice to see people helping others. It's the kind of thing we're used to seeing from the past when families were living close together and could kind of look out for each other—and now they have Top Banana.
—Kathleen Matthews, Channel 7 News, Working Women
